Thank you to everyone who celebrated our 50th Anniversary with us in September! We hope you had as much fun as we did. We say it often, but only because it’s true: We couldn’t do it without you!
Fifty years is a testament to the hard work and commitment of our many volunteers and supporters. We are honored to be able to celebrate this milestone with you, and we look forward to many more years of service to our seniors and community!
Check out the Fall Newsletter for highlights from the 50th Anniversary Celebration and more Fall announcements.
Meet Gabe Pajaro, a student at Rutgers University majoring in Dietetics. Gabe worked as the MOWGNB summer intern. In this role, Gabe packed meals, reviewed our menus, and created meals for our program. Outside of volunteering, Gabe’s hobbies include listening to podcasts, playing board games, and working out.
Gabe’s favorite part about interning for Meals on Wheels:
“I like connecting with the community and the residents.
I enjoy providing quality meals to people in need.
I like that the work I do contributes to something greater.”
