Dear Volunteers,

Happy New Year! As we reflect on the past year and all of its unforeseen challenges, we want to take this opportunity to give thanks to each and every one of you for your tireless care to our clients and dedication to the work that we do.

This has not been an easy year for anyone, but we are proud to have provided uninterrupted services to our seniors during this significant time of need. Our work is only possible because of amazing volunteers like you! We want to give special thanks to all of the volunteers who are able to continue to deliver throughout the pandemic, allowing us to get these emergency meals and supplies into the hands of our clients. This winter we delivered meals, gifts, and supplies throughout the holiday season to many of our clients who remain separated from their families due to the pandemic. 

Now that 2021 is here, we have renewed hope of better times ahead when we may all be able to gather again. Until then, we hope you and your families stay safe and healthy.

Do you enjoy taking selfies, videos, and group photographs while out on delivery? MOWGNB wants to see your snaps, even if your smiles are hidden behind your masks for now! Next time you are out on a run, make sure to take photos and email them to mowgnb@aol.com. If you haven’t done so already, please also sign MOWGNB’s volunteer photo release form (email Executive Director Shareka Fitz to obtain a release form).
