Dear Volunteers,

We hope you and your families are staying safe during these challenging times. This has been a difficult period for our community, our clients, and our organization. With your help, Meals on Wheels has continued to serve the greater New Brunswick community during this crisis. We are actively planning for the year ahead so that we can deliver meals safely and without disruption.

Thanks to our volunteers, every client is receiving a package of two weeks worth of food, including items like milk, bananas, cheese, and frozen dinners. New and old volunteers have stepped up to deliver meals to our homebound seniors. We are grateful to our caterers at Elijah’s Promise who are preparing our frozen meals.

Thank you all for your ongoing support during these uncertain times. We value your service and look forward to the future when we can all gather to celebrate you and our organization.

Spring Fundraiser Cancelled

Unfortunately, due to the ongoing COVID-19 outbreak, the board has decided to cancel the MOWGNB annual fundraiser this year. We appreciate your support during this difficult time.

Board Member A Healthcare Hero

Meals on Wheels Board member Dr. Karen Lin of Robert Wood Johnson Medical School is recognized as a health care hero during the COVID-19 emergency! We are very proud of her work and grateful for her help to Meals on Wheels during this crisis.

Accessing Cell Phones for People in Need

There are 2 Lifeline wireless providers in NJ for people in need – Assurance and SafeLink. Both are offering unlimited minutes and increased data allowances during the disaster period.
