Meet Shruthi Thiyagarajan, a Meals on Wheels in Greater New Brunswick Day Captain.
Thiyagarajan volunteered as Day Captain from September 2022 to March 2023.
She recently graduated from Rutgers University New Brunswick with a degree in Cell Biology and Neuroscience on the pre-med track.
“I really enjoyed my time with Meals on Wheels as it gave me an opportunity to give back to the community and work with such a great cause.”
During her gap year, Thiyagarajan volunteered with Meals on Wheels and is excited to attend Robert Wood Johnson Medical School this year!
Thiyagarajan’s favorite part about volunteering for Meals on Wheels is the opportunity to give back to the community.
